Growing in faith, living with purpose.
At St. Matthew’s, our teen ministry helps students grow in their faith, connect with Christian friends, and apply God’s Word to everyday life. Through engaging Bible studies, meaningful events, and service opportunities, teens build relationships with each other—and with Jesus.
ACTS
A welcoming place for teens to grow, serve, and live out their faith.
Bible Classes & Events
Dig into God’s Word and connect with other teens through Bible studies and special events.
ACTS (Active Christian Teens)
Grow, connect, and serve.
St. Matthew’s ACTS Youth Group helps teens grow in their faith by engaging with God's Word, fostering fellowship with other Christian teens, and offering meaningful service opportunities. All members of St. Matthew’s in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to participate and to invite their friends to join.
Bible Classes & Events
Learn to live what you believe.
Teens at St. Matthew’s are invited to take part in Bible classes designed just for them. These classes help students explore Scripture, tackle real-life issues from a Biblical perspective, and grow in their confidence as young Christians.
Throughout the year, we also host special teen events like service opportunities, game nights, youth rallies, and Christian leadership experiences. Whether you’re new to faith or have grown up in the church, these gatherings are a fun and meaningful way to deepen your relationship with God and your peers.
Teen Bible Study
Sundays at 9:15 AM
Teens in 7th–12th grade are invited to a new study beginning Sunday, September 13! We'll study Lutheran Worship, taking a look at our services from beginning to end and answer the question, "Why do we do THAT in worship?"
Upcoming Events
Hey St. Matthew’s teens in grades 7–12! ACTS is your place to connect, have fun, and grow in faith. Join us in 2026 for upcoming events, activities, and hangouts. *When you sign up, you’ll find all the details you need for each event—we’d love to see you there!
*We understand many parents enjoy activities with their teens, but these events are designed to give teens intentional space to connect with each other, grow in their faith, and build friendships—core to the purpose of ACTS—while parents can still plan similar outings on their own.
